About Pam

Pam Carlson joined Security Bank in Heron Lake, MN as a Retail Banker in December 2022. A native of Storden, Minnesota, she previously worked at our bank from 2011-13. Pam lived in Luverne, MN, Brandon, SD, and Sioux Falls, SD working for the postal service as well as in sales and customer service positions for many years. She worked as Lead Teller for First Premier Bank in Sioux Falls from 2013-19. Pam returned to Heron Lake when she married her husband Chuck. She is the mother of five children: Heather and Greta live in Sioux Falls and Heidi, Samuel, and Jenna live on Maui. Pam enjoys vacationing in Hawaii every winter and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She has enjoyed helping her husband in his farming operation and reconnecting with friends and relatives in the area. Pam is pleased to have the opportunity to be of service at Security Bank in the Heron Lake community.
